Lake Mohave Ranchos Units 6-15
Large, unique Joshua trees can be seen throughout these subdivisions of Lake Mohave Ranchos. The trees start at 13th Street and extend 5 miles to 23rd Street. Each subdivision is square with one mile each side. Between each subdivision is set aside one mile square of government land giving the area a checkerboard appearance and creating a lot of wide open spaces. Lake Mohave Ranchos was subdivided years ago into one acre lots. Each unit contains about 480 one acre lots. There are over 20 different units of Lake Mohave Ranchos. Fourteen of the units are found in the Joshua tree area from 13th St. to 23rd St. View Map

Some lots have city water available. Others you haul your own water or have it delivered. The scenery is spectacular with colorful mountains. The Cerbat Mountain Range can be seen in the East, Table Mountain in the North and the Black Mountains to the South. Much of the terrain is level to gently rolling hills with mature Joshua trees over 20' high. The landscaping is natural and easy to take care of. With the setting of the sun the mountains change colors. At night you can see the red glow of Las Vegas in the western sky. Millions of bright stars light up the evening sky and sometimes you can see the milky way. Most of the lots have a view of Majestic Mt Mitten as seen in the above picture. The community offers many amenities: Fire Station, School (K-12), Library, Full Service Grocery Store, Restaurants, Gas Station, Post Office, Chamber of Commerce, Lumber Yard, Family Dollar and other locally owned small businesses.

All lots are at least an acre in size except for the downtown area which are 1/4 acre. Septic tanks are used throughout the area. We have lots with power & phone available and some with water. You can have horses and other animals on these lots. Units 6 through 15 are located in the middle of a Joshua Tree Forest. They are all located off the Pierce Ferry Road some you have to drive a little farther on the dirt road to get to. But no more than 2 miles.

It is a fun area to 4 wheel in, hike, horseback ride and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with all the wide open spaces and mountain ranges. If you like the country life and being away from all you probably will find this area very appealing. Many people are retiring in this area because of the mild climate.

Mountains of Lower Dolan springs
Lower Dolan Springs Lots from Highway 93 to Downtown
All these lots are off the Pierce Ferry Road within 6 miles of Highway 93. From every horizon you view colorful mountain ranges. The Cerbat Mountains to the East, the Black Mountains to the South, Table Mountain to the North and White Hills Mountains to the West.

Most of these lots are flat and level with desert cacti such as yucca, barrel, choala, fishtail, prickley pear and others. It is easy to build on any of these lots. Many people put in new mobile homes.

Septic tanks are used throughout the area. Most of the lots have power & phone available. Some lots have city water available. Others you haul your own water or have it delivered. The water is pure and tastes great. You can have horses and other animals on these lots.

This is a perfect area to have a mini ranch or small farm. The topsoil is mostly loose sand. It is real convenient being close to Highway 93. Many people commute to Las Vegas, Kingman and Laughlin from this part of the town. We are looking for more listings in this area.
