Being a missionary right where you live
Mission is defined as being sent on some special work. A Christians special work is to share Jesus' love with others. You don't have
to go to a foreign country to do this. Many opportunities occur right where you live. Take advantage of them.
Missionary Projects our church has done
- Take the street you live on and pray for the families that live on that street. You can do it once a week, once a month, with another person
by yourself, or with a group. Do it regularly and you will see God work.
- We cleaned a home for an older lady whose health was not good so she moved to be closer to her family. In order for
the home to show good and sell it needed a good cleaning. The ladies at church set aside a day to clean it. The home then sold right away.
